Braun Productions is hiring “Entertainment Technicians” which are responsible for working as part of the technical team to support the entertainment needs of the venue, install, maintain, and operate various rigging systems, and acrobatic equipment in a safe and consistent manner.
- Operate rigging systems and related equipment for performances, artist training, and maintenance at heights as directed.
- Work with Technical Management to create, conduct, and maintain all inspection, maintenance, and all other required documentation for the safe and continued show operation.
- Adhere to and promote all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations as they pertain to the safe operation of all elements related to the show; participate in all required health and safety classes and emergency rescue procedure training.
- Maintain a flexible schedule for work calls, special events, rehearsal/training, maintenance, and evening show performances.
- Maintain cue track documentation and participate in cue track rotation as directed.
- Develop a thorough knowledge of all rigging equipment specific to the production in order to operate and maintain mechanized and manual rigging equipment safely.
- Participate in special projects including the construction and installation of show rigging systems, and inter-departmental projects that may include hanging, flown, or other needs that fall within the technician’s specialty.
- Identify defects or breakage and report them to management.
- Perform other tasks and projects assigned by the Technical Manager.
- Maintains high quality service when working with clients and other departments.
- Advises supervisor of needed parts and materials to repair and maintain audio, audiovisual, rigging, lighting, and video equipment and when to temporarily replace equipment.
- Responds to emergency calls to repair equipment and accommodate last minute equipment requests from clients.
- Operates an assortment of power tools, measurement instruments and various Man-lift working at heights exceeding 20 feet.
- Perform other job related duties as assigned.
